Since opening our first office in 1994, Innovative Staff Solutions has grown from a single office to a full-service staffing and professional recruiting agency with 18 locations throughout Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky.

Our growth can be attributed to our adherence to core values, as well as our desire and dedication to provide the most effective solutions. To do so, we take the time to listen to the needs, goals, and challenges of our clients as well as our candidates. Staff Bios

Wayne Meinhart - President & Founder

Wayne founded Innovative Staff Solutions in 1994 and currently serves as President, managing all daily operations. Prior to starting Innovative Staff Solutions, Wayne spent eight years as a franchise owner of a national staffing company. During those eight years, Wayne received numerous awards including the top honor of the President's Award as one of the Top Franchise Owners.

In addition to the daily management and operations of Innovative Staffing Solutions, Wayne is actively involved in the local community. He is currently a Board Member and past President of Mattoon Chamber of Commerce, past Board Member of Effingham Chamber of Commerce, past Board Member of Coles County United Way, past Board Member of Coles Together Economic Development Corporation, past member of the Mattoon Fire and Police Board and past member of the Mattoon Rotary. Wayne is also an active member of the staffing industry's top associations including American Staffing Association and Illinois Staffing Association.


Derek Meinhart - Vice President

Derek has been with Innovative Staff Solutions from the very beginning. He started out as an Operations Manager for the company before becoming the Branch Sales Manager. In 2007, he was promoted to Vice President where he has been able to put his wealth of operations, management, and customer service experience to use. Derek understands the importance of providing our clients with exceptional service at a reasonable price. Derek's responsibilities include management of the daily operations of all 17 ISS offices.

Derek is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with a minor in Business. He is active member in several community organizations including the following: Board Member- local chapter of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), Board Member-Crossroads Workforce Investment Board (CWIB), Current Drive Chair and Board Member- United Way of Coles County, and Kiwanis member.


Ron Painter - Director of Accounting

Ron has been working as Director of Accounting with Innovative Staff Solutions since 2007. Prior to joining the company, he spent six years as controller for three businesses within the automotive, tool and die repair, and scrap steel industries. He also spent three years as controller for a small financial services institution, as well as six years in public accounting where he performed a variety of accounting, auditing, tax, and consulting activities.

Ron graduated from Oakland City University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business.


Tricia Drake - Director of Business Development & Professional Recruiting

Tricia brings more than 13 years of experience in sales, management, and customer service to her role at Innovative Staff Solutions. She started as a career agent with the company in 1997 and then came back in 2007 to serve as director of professional recruiting. She has also recently been acting as interim director of business development. Her primary goal at ISS is to teach her team how to think as problem solvers for both clients and prospects.

Tricia graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.


Jackie Perry - Project & Administrative Manager

Jackie has been with Innovative Staff Solutions since 1996, first as a career agent, then as a branch manager. In 2003, she was promoted to project & administrative manager. She currently has more than 16 years of customer service experience.

Jackie is a 1993 graduate of Eastern Illinois University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a concentration in Computer Management.


Jennifer Warma - Operations Manager

Jennifer has been with Innovative Staff Solutions since September 2006, starting as the on-site sales manager at Siemens Manufacturing. She was eventually promoted to operations manager in 2007. Her areas of expertise include employment law, specifically with Title VII, FMLA, and FLSA, cost-effective recruiting, and excellent customer relations. She has worked in the staffing industry since 2001 and became certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) in January 2008.

Jennifer also attended the University of Phoenix and is currently working on her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources at Baker College.


Rosemary Booker - Operations Manager

Rosemary started at Innovative Staff Solutions in 2003 as a flexible employee on the floor at ICS, an on-site managed staffing client. After a few weeks on the floor, she was promoted to a part-time HR assistant to ICS's accounting manager. She worked the other half of her day at ISS's Decatur branch, checking references. When a full-time position opened up in the Decatur branch, Rosemary accepted and became a career agent for ISS. A year later, she was promoted to the Decatur branch manager and eventually went on to work as an on-site manager at several client locations. In 2008, she was promoted to an operations manager.

Rosemary holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications with a focus on Public Relations from Millikin University.


Vickie Whitlock - Operations Manager

Vickie began working at Innovative Staff Solutions in 2007. Before joining the company, she worked in telecommunications for 15 years, where she honed her customer service and operations management skills. She also brings a wealth of experience in union management to ISS.

Vickie is a graduate of Lake Land College where she earned an Associate's degree in Applied Science. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Eastern Illinois University.


Cheryl Cobb - Risk Manager

Cheryl has been with Innovative Staff Solutions since 2002. She brings with her more than 20 years of experience in the HR and benefits field, as well as 16 years of staffing experience. As risk manager, her expertise lies in insurance and workers' compensation benefits.

Cheryl is a graduate of Lake Land College in Mattoon, IL, where she earned her Associate's degree in Business.
